Our March Voices at the Table welcomes David “Excalibur” Camper, With a passion for authenticity and a willingness to stand out, Bay Area rapper, producer and poet Excalibur, breathes life through his art. Born in Vallejo, California, but a native of Suisun City, Excalibur began his artistic journey at fifteen writing rap verses and short stories. In 2019 he became a member of MADDRAMA Performance Troupe and Outspoken Arts Collective during his collegiate journey at Jackson State University. Now a masters graduate of UC Berkeley, he performs across the Bay Area as the first ever Poet Laureate of Suisun City.

Shiori Kiriake is a Japanese pianist based in Northern California. She is a first-prize winner of the 12th Boston International Piano Competition and the 2022 International Amateur Piano Competition (Tokyo). Ms. Kiriake has performed widely in the United States and Japan, appearing as a recitalist, as a concerto soloist at the California Concerto Festival, and at Suntory Hall, Tokyo, in collaboration with members of the Berlin Philharmonic. She is deeply committed to community engagement, regularly sharing music with audiences in nursing homes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Ms. Kiriake studies with John McCarthy, Director Emeritus of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Artistically, her repertoire spans many eras, with particular focus on Baroque and contemporary music. She is especially drawn to Jean-Philippe Rameau and George Frideric Handel, while also championing works by Japanese composers, from Toru Takemitsu to emerging voices.
