My new poem, “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐰, 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫”, a poem inspired by American poet 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐬’ “Another Weeping Woman”, a reinterpretation, will be published in October 2025 by 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫. This will be my 5th poem published by this great online and print poetry organization.

𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐞𝐦:

In that deep shadow of night
A silent poison begins to grow
A lethal nectar, both sweet and deadly
It drinks the water from your tears
From that dark, wet earth
Thick, twisted black blooms arise
A new rare breed of roses
Planted by you
Their petals sing only of pain.
